PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material having a superior resistance against poultice, bathing agent or spice. SOLUTION: There is provided a packaging material for poultices, bathing agents or spices having a barrier layer, an adhesion layer and a sealant layer laminated in this order, wherein acid modified polyolefin resin containing (metha) acrylic ester component as the adhesion layer is used and an amount of the adhesion layer is in the range of 0.001 to 5 g/m<SP>2</SP>. Further, there is provided a method for manufacturing the packaging material, wherein the adhesion layer made of acid modified polyolefin resin containing (metha) acrylic easter component is formed on the barrier layer, and molten sealant resin is laminated on it by an extrusion lamination through the adhesion layer.
