PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion to the groin without increasing folding of a main body part 10 of an absorbent article 1. SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes the main body part 10, and an absorbent body 20 having a fluid absorbing member 22 to absorb fluid as overlapped with the main body part 10, in which an end part 20a is jointed with one end part 10a in the longitudinal direction in the main body part 10 by a junction part 10g, with the other end part 20b set to be movably separable from the other end part 10b of the main body part 10 as a free end around the end part 20a being a fulcrum. Folding positions P1, P2, and P3 for folding the absorbent article 1 in the longitudinal direction as the absorbing item 20 is overlapped with the main body part 10 are not positioned at least at an end 10r on the free end side of the junction part 10g.
