<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-angle projector which does not require focus adjustment and which can obtain a variable power ratio necessary for a projection image. <P>SOLUTION: The projector is equipped with a light source 2, an optical modulation element 3 and a projection optical system 4. The light source 2 generates luminous flux for forming an optical image to be projected. The optical modulation element 3 forms the optical image to be projected by modulating the luminous flux. The angle of view in the projection optical system 4 is made into a wide angle. The focal length of the projection optical system 4 is fixed. The projector is moved back and forth within a predetermined range relative to a screen, and required resolution is obtained and the size of an image is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
