PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator that is operable at a low voltage. SOLUTION: An oscillation circuit constituted of a piezoelectric vibrator 19, an NMOS transistor 17 and a PMOS transistor 15 constituting an amplifier 41 connected in parallel to the piezoelectric vibrator 19, and load capacitors 20, 21 connected in parallel to the piezoelectric vibrator 19. In the oscillation circuit, a gate terminal 32 of the NMOS transistor 17 and a gate terminal 30 of the PMOS transistor 15, constituting the amplifier 41, are connected by a DC cut capacitor 22, and the gate terminal 32 of the NMOS transistor 17 and an output terminal 31 of the amplifier 41 are connected by a feedback resistor 16. To the gate terminal 30 of the PMOS transistor 15, an arbitrary bias voltage is applied via a high frequency removal resistor 23 and the bias voltage is generated by a circuit configured by diode-connecting a second PMOS transistor 25.
