PURPOSE: A double safety device is provided to turn on the starting of an engine only when a brake pedal which is an arresting gear is operated and to perform speed change only when the brake pedal is operated even when changing speed after starting. CONSTITUTION: The double safety device comprises:a motor vehicle wiring part(100); a connector(102); a relay(110); a gear sensor(108) to sense the starting of an engine and the position of speed changing lever by receiving the signal output from a starting/speed changing position sensing terminal; a microprocessor(114) to feed control signals to a sound output part(118) to output sound data; a first mis-operation preventing part(116) to operate the microprocessor according to the reset when the microprocessor performs abnormal routine and feeds low voltage; and a second mis-operation preventing part(112).
