PHOTOCATALYTIC REACTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic reaction apparatus suitable for tentatively performing such a reaction that CO2is fixed by a photocatalytic reaction and the fixed CO2is converted into useful organic matter or fuel. SOLUTION: The photocatalytic reaction apparatus for performing the reaction by using a photocatalyst is provided with: ultraviolet light emitting diodes 3, 5 which are used as light sources for exciting the photocatalyst, one 3 of which is arranged on the periphery of a reaction vessel 1 to the inside surface direction and the other 5 of which is arranged inside the reaction vessel 1 to the outside surface direction; a cooling unit 6; a housing unit 11; an ultrasonic stirrer 12 for dispersing the photocatalyst in the reaction vessel and agitating a solvent in the reaction vessel; and a cover 13 for shielding and protecting ultraviolet rays 13.
