PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw compressor having a bearing structure of long lifetime which bears thrust force of a screw shaft. SOLUTION: In the screw compressor 1 including a male and female pair of screw rotors 2, 3 meshing with each other, pistons 8, 9 are provided on end parts at suction sides of shafts 4, 5 of the screw rotors 2, 3, cylinders 10 are installed on the pistons 8, 9, pressurized fluid is supplied to an inside space of the cylinder 10, and thrust pads 11, 12 capable of butting on the pistons 8, 9 are arranged on a depth wall in the cylinder 10.
