PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for processing a propelling force, which applies a high propelling force to a processing work without enlarging a processing apparatus and deforming a work side. SOLUTION: Oscillation propelling generation (S104) during a prescribed output period by an ultra-magnetic deformation oscillator under a basic propelling force output (S100) by an air cylinder, and oscillation propelling force stop (S106) during the prescribed stop period, are repeated. Synthetic propelling power during the respective prescribed output periods provides a higher level propelling power than a constant output level, and uses it more frequently as propelling power for processing the high level synthetic propelling power. Thereby the size of press-in processing apparatus and the press processing apparatus is reduced, unnecessary deformation on the work side is eliminated, and the high propelling power is applied to the processing work.
