PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method with the sawtooth of sections capable of minimizing burrs generated even when the number of cutting increases. SOLUTION: In this cutting method, sections 10 formed from any of H sections, I sections, angles and channels are cut using a circular sawtooth 14 rotatably driven while eliminating or reducing cutting burrs generated. A grooved slit 24 is cut on the sections 10 along a cutting-plane line from the front and the sections 10 formed with the slit 24 are cut along the cutting-plane line from the back. The sawtooth 14 for cutting the slit on the sections 10 from the front can be the same as the sawtooth 14 for cutting the sections 10 from the back. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
