PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage tank of such a structure that an installation space underneath the water storage tank is efficiently utilized for installation and maintenance of water supply/drainage equipments while pipes is easily covered. SOLUTION: For housing water-supply/drainage equipment, a lower work space 4 is formed between a tank body 2 and a water-tank installation base 3. A vertical connection passage connecting the upper space of the tank and the lower work space 4 is hermetically formed in such a way as to go vertically through the water-storage space 24.
