FLUID BEARING DEVICE, SPINDLE MOTOR HAVING THE SAME, AND DISK DRIVE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing device having a bearing with long service life in a HDD spindle motor reduced in axial dimension by reducing the size and thickness.

SOLUTION: A working fluid storage part 14 in which the depth changes along the periphery is formed between the side surface of a sleeve 2 and the side surface of a cover 5. A working fluid is circulated by a bearing gap part, a sleeve upper end gap part 12 larger than the bearing gap between the upper end surface of the sleeve 2 and the cover 5, and a communication hole 6. The working fluid storage part 14 and the sleeve upper end gap part 12 communicate with each other through an introduction gap part 11 having a gas-liquid separating function.
