PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reducing the occurrence of reading errors from a disk medium even if tilt of electronic equipment is caused. SOLUTION: A tilt sensor 2 is provided at a head part of a pickup module 1, it detects an angle formed by a medium 4 and the pickup module 1. A tilt mechanism 6 is driven so that 90 degrees is kept in the angle. A optical disk 100 is provided with further two tilt sensors 3a, 3b. A correction angle calculating part 9 calculates a correction value based on tilt deviation values detected by the tilt sensors 3a, 3b and an orthogonality deviation value detected by the tilt sensor 2, and the tilt mechanism 6 is operated and the tilt is corrected.
