PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material which ensures excellent scratch resistance, less falling of a matting agent and less dust deposition during use by a user, and can materialize image formation by which digital information can be recorded with less degradation on the silver halide photographic sensitive material. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has, on one side of a polyester support, silver halide emulsion layers comprising at least one blue-sensitive layer, at least one green-sensitive layer and at least one red-sensitive layer and a non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer, and has a conductive antistatic layer and a protective layer disposed in this order on the other side of the support, wherein the protective layer contains diacetylcellulose and a matting agent which is polyacrylonitrile.
