PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional method of using a nut with a claw wherein since a staple is driven to prevent the nut with a claw from being loosened or loosened off, the number of parts of the staple was increased and the number of man-hours for working was increased, and the cost was increased. SOLUTION: In this method of using the nut 1 with a claw, the tubular shaft part 2 of the nut 1 with a claw is fitted to a fitting hole 12 formed in a wooden base member 11, and the nut 1 is secured to the base member 11. The diameter D1 of the fitting hole 12 is made smaller than the shaft diameter d1 of the tubular shaft part 2. The tubular shaft part 2 is fitted into the fitting hole 12.
