<p>A method and an apparatus are provided for management of IP-based virtual link. The said method comprises: monitoring practical parameter of the present IP-based virtual link to determine whether or not the parameter satisfies predetermined condition according to predetermined monitoring parameter, when the monitored practical parameter of the present IP-based virtual link does not satisfy the predetermined condition, sending out a notification. Therein, the said monitoring parameter is set based on processing ability of the physical processing unit. So when the traffic load on IP-based virtual link and the service load on physical processing unit increase, it can inform the user to expand and adjust capacity to avoid unnecessary loss, in the meantime, it can also provide quantitative indication for user to expand and adjust capacity. Besides, when transmission quality of the network deteriorates it can notify the user to examine the network in time.</p> |
