A composition comprising mucous secretion of fish is provided to treat hemorrhoids, reduce the treatment costs, remove pain, inhibit inconvenience of daily life caused by treatment, and minimize side effects. A composition for treating hemorrhoids comprises 1-98 wt.% of mucous secretion of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco, 1-98 wt.% of mucous secretion of Silurus asotus and 1-98 wt.% of mucous secretion of Misgurnus mizolepis. A method for preparing the composition for treating hemorrhoids comprises the steps of: (a) inserting alive Pseudobagrus fulvidraco, Silurus asotus and Misgurnus mizolepis in a vessel; (b) storing the vessel at 25-35 deg. C for 36-72 hours to generate mucous secretion through friction each other; (c) collecting the mucous secretion; and (d) optionally mixing the collected mucous secretion with antiseptic.
