<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, efficiently dissolving shortage of a refrigerant without lowering of air-conditioning capability in the air conditioner in which a plurality of outdoor units are parallel-connected. <P>SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1, a plurality of outdoor units 3a, 3b respectively having receivers 36a, 36b are parallel-connected to indoor-to-outdoor connecting pipes 11, 12 connecting indoor units 2a, 2b and the outdoor units 3a, 3b. During the heating operation of all outdoor units 3a, 3b, a discharged refrigerant is caused to make detour of an own receiver 36b in the refrigerant surplus side outdoor unit 3b. In the air conditioner 1, during the heating operation in which the stopped outdoor unit 3b exists, the discharged refrigerant flows in the receiver 36b of the stopped outdoor unit 3b through a gas side indoor-to-outdoor connecting pipe 12 from the operated outdoor unit 3a. In the air conditioner 1, during the heating or cooling operation in which the stopped outdoor unit 3b exists, an automatic switching valve SV58 of the stopped outdoor unit 3b is stopped to push out the refrigerant to an outdoor-to-outdoor connecting pipe 13 by the internal pressure of the receiver of the stopped outdoor unit 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
