PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical vibration proofing device having improved installation workability while effectively preventing the come-off of an elastic stopper. SOLUTION: The cylindrical vibration proofing device comprises a rubber elastic body 3 having a rubber covering layer 31 covering the outer peripheral face at one axial end of an inner cylinder member 1 and a plurality of outward protrusions 32 protruded radially outward from the outer peripheral face of the rubber covering layer 31 and arranged in peripherally spaced relation, and the elastic stopper 4 annularly formed and having a plurality of inward protrusions 42 protruded radially inward from the inner peripheral face and arranged in peripherally spaced relation. The inward protrusions 42 and the outward protrusions 32 are formed by an inclined protruded strip which is formed to be gradually inclined from one axial end to the other end as extending in the peripheral direction. The elastic stopper 4 is externally fitted to the outer periphery at one axial end of the inner cylinder member 1, and then rotated in the peripheral direction to be installed to the state in which the inward protrusions 42 engage with the outward protrusions 32 in the axial direction.
