Heating granulated food in oil - using machine with separate equipped stations for loading, heating, drain-cooling and unloading including elevator vat heater

The machine is for heating of certain granulated foods in oil and ensures uniformity of treatment throughout the granulated mass. The plant has separate equipped stations for the loading, heating, cooling and draining, and unloading of the produce. A quantity of the produce is loaded into perforated vessels on trollies which are moved by chain conveyor into the various stations. The heating station may inc. an agitator and a vat of heated oil. The trolley mounted vessel contg. produce moves into position below the agitator and above the vat. The agitator and vat then descend and ascend to penetrate and immerse the produce respectively. The cooling and draining may be effected by concentric cylindrical refrigerating jackets with scrapers which plunge into the mass of the produce. The machinery may be powered by pneumatics.
