PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with a mechanism which can buffer impacts at the stoppage of a game performance member moving vertically with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a lift 200 which has link members 210 and 220 freely rockable vertically being pivoted on the main body part of the game machine and makes an illumination sign 100 to be supported at the tip parts of the link members 210 and 220 freely drop to be lowered to the exposure position shifted downward within a playing area from the standby position shifted upward within the playing area and a stop mechanism which has an buffering buffer member 250 to stop the illumination sign 100 at a position shifted to the exposure position of the illumination sign 100. When the tip parts of the link members 210 and 220 are rocked downward with the lift 200 to make the illumination sign 100 freely drop so that it is lowered to the exposure position, the buffer member 250 contacts the link members 210 and 220 being sandwiched between them.
