PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid retention and mist regeneration at a mist eliminating filter by uniformly passing mist-containing gas all over the mist eliminating filter. SOLUTION: In the mist eliminator, a gas introducing port 3a is formed on the side face of a vessel body 1, and a partition plate 5 is provided on the side face of the vessel body 1 above the gas introducing port 3a, shielding the periphery of the mist eliminating filter 2 viewed from the bottom part 1c of the vessel body 1 and exposing a central part in the mist eliminating filter 2.
