PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably retain an endoscope stored in a carrying case and to smoothly take out a body operation section without damaging or the like an insertion section when taking out the endoscope. SOLUTION: A body storage section 20 formed in the case body 2 is provided with a front-side clamping walls 30 and 30 and rear-side clamping walls 31 and 31 for stably retaining the body operation section 11 when storing the body operation section 11 of an endoscope 10, and the clamping force by the front side clamping walls 30 and 30 as a preferential detachment structure section is formed weaker than the clamping force by the rear side clamping walls 31 and 31, so that the body operation section 11 is configured to detach the distal end side connected with the insertion section 12 from the body storage section 20 at first.
