<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter obtained by forming a diaphragm (light shielding pattern) by light shielding ink having ink repellency and forming color layers in areas divided by the diaphragm (light shielding pattern) by an ink jet procedure, the color filter having a uniform and highly adhesive overcoat layer free from defective color mixture and peeling or crack. <P>SOLUTION: In the color filter wherein a diaphragm (light shielding pattern) 21a is formed on a transparent substrate 11 by light shielding ink having ink repellency, a color layer 30 comprising a red color layer 31R, a green color layer 32G and a blue color layer 33B is formed by coloring ink in areas separated by the diaphragm (light shielding pattern) 21a; the surface tension of the coloring ink is ≤50 mN/m and a contact angle of the coloring ink with the diaphragm (light shielding pattern) is 30° to 50°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
