MERCURY REMOVING ADSORBENT USING IRON OXIDE SUBJECTED TO SULFURIZATION TREATMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent for removing gaseous mercury after sulfurization treatment of iron oxide to accumulate sulfur and further to provide its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The mercury removing adsorbent containing iron oxide subjected to sulfurization treatment with sulfurization treatment gas which is composed of 0.001 to 2 vol.% of sulfur compounds, 1 to 50 vol.% of oxygen and 48.0 to 98.999 vol.% of carrier gas on the basis of the whole volume of the sulfurization treatment gas, is provided.
