PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacking device without generating wrench force in shield jacks, even if a difference is caused in an extension speed and the extension length of connected respective expansion rods, in the jacking device of a shield machine of connecting the expansion rods of a plurality of shield jacks. SOLUTION: This jacking device has the plurality of shield jacks 1 arranged at an interval in the peripheral direction, shoes 6 installed in an end part of the expansion rods 5 of these shield jacks 1 so as to be capable of oscillating, and a connecting plate 13 connecting a plurality of mutual shoes 6, on an inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical shield frame 2 forming an outer shell of the shield machine, for advancing the shield machine by taking reaction to an existing segment. The plurality of shoes 6 connected by the connecting plate 13 have one fixed shoe 6a fixed to the connecting plate 13 and a sliding shoe 6b slidably allowed to abut on the connecting plate 13. An engaging mechanism 14 is interposed between the sliding shoe 6b and the connecting plate 13 for engaging both by allowing the relative movement in a predetermined range.
