PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the Cd value by improving the processing of an under-cover around a jack-up part. SOLUTION: A lower body work of a vehicle according to this invention is equipped with a bumper facia 5, a cross-member 62 extending across the vehicle width in the area as part of a front sub-frame 6 and between a radiator and an engine and having the jack-up part J in such a shape as swollen out downward at the undersurface of the central part about the direction across the vehicle width, and the under-cover 10a to cover the undersurface of the body ranging from the bumper facia 5 to below the engine. The under-cover 10a has a bottom-equipped, upward facing recess K located below the cross-member 62 and approaching the jack-up part J upon swelling out upward in the region overlapping with the jack-up part J.
