PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power equipment capable of improving the driving efficiency of a power equipment and generating efficiency when power generation is carried out by using the power of a driven portion. SOLUTION: The power equipment 1 includes a prime mover 3 having an output shaft 3a, a sun gear S, a ring gear R, and a carrier C rotatably supporting a planetary gear P engaged with the sun gear S and the ring gear R. The power arrangement 1 comprises a planetary gear train PS wherein the sun gear S and the ring gear R are coupled to driven portions DW, DW and the carrier C is coupled to the output shaft 3a of the prime mover 3; a rotating machine 30 having an output portion 32 coupled between either one of the sun gear S or the ring gear R and the driven portions DW, DW; and a transmission 20 coupled between the other of the sun gear S and the ring gear R and the driven portions DW, DW, and shifting a gear of the power of the prime mover 3 to transmit that to the driven portions DW, DW.
