<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which suppresses wet heat blurring in an ink accepting layer for which a pseudo-boehmite-like alumina hydrate is used, and which reveals a very high printing density and makes it possible to record an image superior in ozone resistance and light resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The ink accepting layer which the medium has on a water-resistant substrate contains the pseudo-boehmite-like alumina hydrate, polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree less than 90% and an average polymerization degree of 3,000 or more, a crosslinking agent for crosslinking the polyvinyl alcohol, a cationic polymer including quaternary ammonium in the skeleton, a magnesium ion or a precursor thereof and an SCN ion or a precursor thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
