PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device capable of easily measuring the moving amount of a cylindrical roller in a retainer in the subassembly for the roller bearing having an outer ring, the cylindrical roller and the retainer. SOLUTION: The measurement device is composed of a measurement member 1 comprising a contact part 2 for attracting a cylindrical roller 13 from inside in a radial direction of the subassembly 10, and a base member 5 which is attaching the measurement member 1 to a subassembly 10 capable of reciprocally moving along the certain direction, also the certain direction is coincident with the radial direction of the subassembly 10. The moving amount of the measurement member 1 caused by moving a cylindrical roller 13 in a pocket part 14a of a retainer 14 to a radial direction in a state that the contact part 2 is attracting the cylindrical roller 13 is measured by a measurement part 7.
