The method involves assigning identification characteristics to objects. The assigned identification characteristics are registered into a navigation set (6). A positioning transmitter (3) of the navigation set transmits information (Q) with own positioning data and own identification characteristic in a direction of a group of satellites (1). Information (P) sent back from the group of satellites to the earth is received by a satellite signal receiver (2) at the objects.
