An elastic wood carpet and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to promote free use of both of producer and consumer by preventing physical deformation of a segment by a climatic influence, and to improve productivity, to reduce a cost due to minimization of loss of material lumber in cutting or processing. A method for manufacturing an elastic wood carpet comprises the steps of: preparing plural segments having a long and narrow shape and a certain thickness(S101); preparing a certain elastic unit having a long and narrow shape on the same or similar thickness as the segment's thickness(S102); preparing a sheet-shaped backing material having a certain thickness and the same area as an area of a wood carpet(S103); forming an assembled plate by arranging and attaching at least one segment and the elastic unit in order(S104); forming an attached plate by attaching the assembled plate and the backing material using an adhesive(S105); and finishing the wood carpet by cutting the outside of the attached plate and forming a locking preventive cutting part(S106).
