<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device capable of suppressing degradation in the impression of a display surface due to gas generated from a protector for protecting a display panel and to provide an electronic apparatus loaded with the electro-optic device. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a display panel 11, a cover 12 arranged on the viewer side of the display panel 11, an adhesive material 14 arranged between the cover 12 and the display panel 11 to stick the cover 12 to the display panel 11, and a gas barrier film 16 formed on the surface of the cover 12, which is the opposite side to the viewer side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
