PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more practical hydraulic brake system reducing possibility that self-excitation vibration is generated. SOLUTION: A buffer 114 is provided on a reserver communication passage 68 of the hydraulic brake system. When a pump 70 is operated, by feeding a brake liquid from the buffer 114, suction resistance of the reservoir communication passage 68 is outstandingly reduced and a suction amount of the brake liquid from a pressure-reduction passage 100 is reduced. As a result, excessive reduction of the liquid pressure in a plunger chamber 170 of a pressure-reduction valve 90 is suppressed and generation of the self-excitation vibration is suppressed. Further, also by a throttle valve device 116 arranged on a pressure reduction passage 100, a suction amount of the brake liquid from the pressure reduction passage 100 is reduced and generation of the self-excitation vibration is suppressed.
