A power interruption device automatically operating in a spark generated at an electric wire is provided to prevent an electric fire due to the spark by automatically interrupting power of an earth leakage breaker and an electromagnetic switch. A power interruption device automatically operating in a spark generated at an electric wire includes a triac switching circuit, a rectification and smoothing circuit unit, and an operation delay circuit. The triac switching circuit is driven by a pulse current of an electromagnetic wave generated by a spark of an electric signal and conducts a current. The rectification and smoothing circuit unit rectifies the current outputted from the triac switching circuit, converts the current into DC, and steps down the DC to output a constant voltage. The operation delay circuit delays flow of the current applied through the rectification and smoothing circuit to operate a switching device for power interruption of an earth leakage breaker when the current is continuously supplied for more than a predetermined time. The triac switching circuit includes a primary pulse trans-coil(L1), a secondary pulse trans-coil(L2), a variable resistor(R3), and a triac(Q1).
