The method involves storing data of a data sequence in a memory unit (50), selections (104) of data of the data sequence for a participant (Tln2). The selection method is adapted with another selection (94). The data for another participant (Tln4) is distributed as unicast before adapting and also data for the participant are distributed as multicast (130) after adapting. An independent claim is also included for a device for the selection of data.
