摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves mating a low pressure (LP) turbine module (110) of a gas turbine engine with a low pressure shaft (101) up to a determined distance from a journal (111) integrated to a high pressure (HP) body of the engine. The shaft is centered with respect to the journal, where the centering is controlled based on the measuring distance deviations with respect to a reference on the journal. An outer ring of the journal is expanded by heating the outer surface of the journal, and the mating of the shaft is completed. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a device for the implementation of a gas turbine engine assembling method. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for assembling a multi-spool gas turbine engine (claimed) e.g. double-spool bypass turbojet such as the CFM56. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The controlling of the centering of the shaft with respect to the journal guarantees correct positioning, which permits, once the journal is expanded, trouble-free mating. The heating of the journal from the outside frees space allowing the engagement of the shaft, and hence reducing the assembly time. The mating of the LP turbine module is executed when the temperatures of the journal and the distance deviations with respect to the journal are within predetermined limits, thus assuring trouble-free assembling. The method avoids high heterogeneity, of the order of 20 degree Celsius, of the temperature levels of the heated parts, the risk of adding pollution by the ambient air taken for the heating, and the risk of damage of the outer ring by contact with a diffuser.
