A bimetal using phosphorus deoxidized copper and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost for the bimetal by making the bimetal using cheap phosphorus deoxidized copper. A bimetal using phosphorus deoxidized copper comprises the step of performing a surface treatment on a surface of an inva sheet and a phosphorus deoxidized copper sheet which is thickness than the inva sheet by 40 to 60% of the inva sheet. The inva sheet and the phosphorus deoxidized copper sheet are stacked up against each other. The inva sheet and the phosphorus deoxidized copper sheet are bonded through a cold rolling process performed at a reduction ratio of 55 to 65%. The bonded sheets are subject to a recrystallization annealing within a temperature range of 750 to 850°C. The bonded sheets are subject to a cold rolling process at a reduction ratio of 75 to 85%. The bonded sheets are subject to a stress relief annealing within a temperature range of 150 to 250°C.
