A display substrate, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprising the display substrate, and a method for manufacturing the display substrate are provided to achieve a wide viewing angle and reduce the number of source-driving chips. A pixel includes a first unit pixel, a second unit pixel, and a third unit pixel, which generate different colors. The first unit pixel is connected to a first gate line. The second unit pixel is connected to a second gate line. The third unit pixel is connected to a third gate line. A source line is connected to the first, second, and third unit pixels. Each of the first, second, and third unit pixels includes a common electrode formed above a substrate, and a pixel electrode formed above the common electrode to face the common electrode. The pixel electrode has a plurality of openings(190a). The first, second, and third unit pixels are arranged along the source line such that short sides of the first, second, and third unit pixels are parallel with the source line.
