The invention relates to a mold for laminating a member encompassing a plurality of material pieces. Said mold comprises a molding element (1) which has a working surface (3) for placing the material pieces that are to be laminated thereon as well as a bottom side (5) opposite the working surface (3). A plurality of suction ducts (7) are provided which extend from the working surface (3) through the molding element (1). Each suction duct (7) is used for sucking a fluid off the working surface. The invention further relates to a method for producing a molded and glued workpiece. Said method comprises the following steps: a first layer of material pieces (M) is placed on a working surface (3) of a mold in a predetermined position; a fluid is sucked off the working surface (3) of the mold via suction ducts (7) that extend from the working surface (3) into or through the molding element (1), the position of each individual material piece (M) being maintained by means of a negative pressure which is generated between the respective material piece (M) and the working surface (3) because the fluid is sucked off; a resin is applied to the side of the material pieces which faces away from the working surface (3) in order to interconnect the material pieces by means of the resin. |
