A valve (1) is provided, in particular a radiator valve, with a valve housing (2), which has a first channel (3), a second channel (4) and a path in between with a valve seat (5), and with a valve element (11) which is movable in the direction of the valve seat (5) and in an opposite direction and is held in an actuating housing (10) which is connected to the valve housing (2), wherein the first channel (3) is connected to a side of the valve seat (5) which faces away from the valve element. It would be desirable to be able to eliminate installation errors in a simple manner. For this purpose, it is provided that an insert (7) is arranged in the valve housing (2), said insert interrupting the path and having an auxiliary valve seat (20), the side of which facing the valve element (11) is connected to a first space (21) which is connected to the first channel (3) through the valve seat (5), and the side of which facing away from the valve element (11) is connected to a second space (22) which is connected to the second channel (4). |
