PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet head capable of applying a stabilized ink pressure to the nozzle, the ink jet head being provided with a pressure producing chamber in a channel connecting the ink jet nozzle and an ink tank as well as a damper function. CONSTITUTION:In an ink on demand type ink jet head wherein the pressure producing chamber (comprising for example a vibrating plate 3 and a PZT 2) 4 is provided in the channel 7 connecting the ink jet nozzle 1 and the ink tank, and ink is jetted from the nozzle 1, the damper mechanism 10 comprising for example an air chamber is provided in the channel 7. |
