A method of processing broadcasting service information and a hybrid TV using the method are provided to allow a hybrid TV system to selectively receive required information to reduce memory consumption of the system. A method of processing broadcasting service information in a hybrid TV includes a step of determining whether packets received from an IP(Internet Protocol) network includes broadcasting service information which represents whether at least one broadcasting provider simultaneously provides IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) broadcasting services respectively corresponding to legacy broadcasting services with respect to predetermined broadcasting contents(305,310), and a step of ignoring the received packets when the packets do not include the broadcasting service information(320).
