A technique for extracting the roots of the upper teeth prior to the dental implantation comprises the use of the root elevator inserted into the periodontal fissure following the fragmentation of the root in half with the diamond instrument. The bayonet-shaped forceps are used for extracting the root fragment. The alveolar bone is not used as the support for the lever of the instrument. |
