The body part (10) has a layer (12) forming a rib (16) on a surface (14) of the part, where the layer is turned towards interior of a vehicle and is made of molding composition of fibers. Another layer (19) is formed from molding with the layer (12) and forms a surface (20) of the body part. The layer (19) is turned towards exterior of the vehicle and is made of material having 8 percentage of thermo-hardenable resin and 65 percentage of mineral load. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a body part.
