PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger with an electric motor applicable in common to various uses, for example, different treatments such as a 12V specification car and a 24V specification car, pursuing safety, versatility, practicality, cost performance and energy efficiency. SOLUTION: The turbochargers 41, 42 and 43 with an electric motor have turbochargers 1, 2 and 3, electric motors M1, M2 and M3 power-assisting the turbochargers 1, 2 and 3, voltage boosting/step-down circuits 21 and 22 receiving supply of a DC power source, and an inverter circuit 30 inputting output of the voltage boosting/step-down circuits 21 and 22, and are driven by supplying output of the inverter circuit 30 to respective phases of the electric motors M1, M2 and M3 as an electric motor driving current. The voltage boosting/step-down circuits 21 and 22 inputted by at least any voltage value from the DC power source, output a predetermined reference voltage value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
