PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a method for moving a draining installation improved to maintain excellent mobility for quickly approaching an afflicted area with only an approach path of a narrow road in an urban area and a rough road such as a muddy road. SOLUTION: A drain pump system A comprised by mounting a drain pump package 1 having a portable drain pump and a control board of the drain pump installed therein on a trailing truck 2, and a movable generator B comprised by mounting a generator B on a small size track 31 are prepared. The drain method includes a pump moving process moving the drain pump system A to travel from a storage area to a site, a generator moving process moving the generator 30 travel to the storage area to the site, and an approaching process making the drain pump system A moved to the site and the generator 30 moved to the site relatively approach enable conductive connection connecting the control board 12 and the generator 30 by electric wiring h.
