PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cover mounting structure capable of realizing excellent mountability, while maintaining the prevention of a looseness sound by a mounting variation and the shock absorbing effect by displacement to a load from above. SOLUTION: This engine cover mounting structure has a fitting structure of detachably fitting a fitting mount member composed of an elastic body and a fitting projection body in the vehicle longitudinal direction. Rotational operation with a fitting part as a fulcrum is freed by connecting a second mount member mounting hole separate in the vehicle upward direction via a connecting opening part to a mount member mounting hole of a mounting leg part for engaging the fitting mount member, and mounting work of this side mounting part in an engine room is facilitated. When a load is applied from above an engine cover, the engine cover itself approaches an engine member by moving in the vehicle downward direction, and a hood cover can be sufficiently deformed thereby.
