<p>A control mode switching judgment is executed as a part of main loop (control period (Tm)) for integrating AC motor control entirely. Control period (Tc) in rectangular wave voltage control mode is shorter than the execution period (Tm) of control mode switching judgment. When switching from the rectangular wave voltage control mode to PWM control mode is judged, voltage phase alteration of rectangular wave voltage is forbidden from the control mode switching judgment timing (time t0) to next time main loop execution, i.e. the timing (time t1) of actually switching the control mode, and the voltage phase of rectangular wave voltage at the time of control mode switching judgment is sustained. Consequently, the drive controller of an AC motor having an arrangement for switching the control mode can execute appropriate switching of control mode without unsettling the operation of the AC motor.</p> |
