<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for an antireflection film which has a good light-place contrast and also has heat resistance when mounted on an optical filter. <P>SOLUTION: The film for the antireflection film is a polyester film comprising at least three layers containing a light absorbent in the inner layer, and is characterized in satisfying the expressions below and in that light transmittance at a light wavelength of 380 nm is ≤5% and coating layers are formed on both surfaces, an average value of light beam reflectivity of one coating surface at a wavelength of 400 to 800 nm being 4.5% and the coating layer on the surface on the opposite side containing 10 to 50% by weight of a crosslinking agent resin. The film satisfies following expressions: T<SB>440-460</SB>-T<SB>480-500</SB>≥3% (1), T<SB>440-460</SB>-T<SB>560-580</SB>≥3% (2), T<SB>520-540</SB>-T<SB>480-500</SB>≥3% (3), T<SB>520-540</SB>-T<SB>560-580</SB>≥3% (4), T<SB>610-630</SB>-T<SB>480-500</SB>≥3% (5), T<SB>610-630</SB>-T<SB>560-580</SB>≥3% (6), where the abbreviation in the expressions mean respective average values of light transmittance at respective light wavelengths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
