<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard instrument capable of saving space by making the whole instrument compact in nonuse. <P>SOLUTION: The keyboard instrument is provide with: a keyboard case 1 in which a plurality of keys are aligned; a pair of stand members 2 and 3 respectively having connection parts 11 connected to the keyboard case 1 to support the keyboard case 1; a pair of guide groove parts 5 and 6 provided in the keyboard case 1 to guide the respective connection parts 11 of the pair of stand members 2 and 3 movably in an attachment and detachment direction; and a rotation member 7 rotatably provided in a center part of the keyboard case 1 where the respective guide groove parts 5 and 6 are approximate each other and having a pair of holding groove parts 31 and 32 where the respective connection parts are inserted when the pair of stand members 2 and 3 approach each other. Thus, the keyboard case 1 can be horizontally supported by the pair of stand members 2 and 3 in use, and rotated around the rotation member to erect vertically in nonuse.
